If interested, please come to our training on May 7th 1-2pm for introduction, training, and schedule sign. Participants will learn all you need to become a Butterfly House volunteer. Volunteers will also learn how to help with this exciting exhibit for school groups and visitors. As a newcomer, you will also have the opportunity to shadow other volunteers.
Help is needed for our May Butterfly classes with school groups as well as during the summer with the general public. As a volunteer you will greet the public, share info about butterflies and make sure guests follow the Butterfly House rules.
Sign-up for May classes is on a case by case basis. For summertime volunteering it is asked that you sign up for a recurring weekly or biweekly time slot. You can also sign up as an alternate in case a volunteer isn't able to make their regular shift.
