Take an active role in making natural areas more healthy, diverse and beautiful!
Volunteers will have the opportunity to identify native and invasive plant species and learn the importance of a diverse ecosystem.
Great event for families and folks of all ages!
We will meet at the front entrance of the nature center building: 2300 N Benton Center Rd
This event typically involves the removal of invasive plants, but other conservation work is done depending on the season.
Please bring:
- sturdy shoes
- weather appropriate clothes you don't mind getting dirty or torn
- a water bottle
We will provide:
- leather work gloves
- loppers
- any other tools needed for that days task
