The VA Benton Harbor Community Based Outpatient Clinic is hosting the annual VA2K. This event not only encourages Veteran and employee physical activity by walking a 1.2 course that day, it also brings in needed donations for the VA Homeless Veteran program.
We would love for you and your employees to take part in this walk for homelessness and/or to donate to the Veteran Homeless program.
If you would like to donate, Veterans are in need of (no used items, please):
- Coats
- Hats/gloves
- Clothing
- Underwear
- Full size toiletry items
- Boots/shoes
- Blankets
- Bottled Water
- We cannot solicit cash or gift cards, but if you feel you would like to donate them, we can accept those forms of donations as well. Donation receipts will be available at the event. Cash/gift cards will be forwarded on to Battle Creek VAMC Community and Volunteer Services for the use of our Homeless Program Veterans.
