Who We Are
Mission: To serve as a centralized point that is exclusively mandated with the responsibility to assist veterans and dependents with federal and state benefits.
The primary functions of the Veterans Services office are to be knowledgeable of all facets of VA benefits and provide assistance to the veteran when developing and filing a claim. This service-oriented philosophy of operation is fully sensitized to the needs, problems, and desires of the veteran.
What We Do
The Veterans Services office processes applications for county burial benefits and emergency monetary assistance as mandated by the State of Michigan. The office also maintains an active outreach program, informing area veterans’ organizations of the services rendered.
