The annual Postal Food Drive is the Saturday before Mother’s Day where members of our community and the US Postal Service come together to help supply local pantries who give temporary support of food to families in need. This year the event is scheduled for May 12th. Volunteers are needed to help at the postal facility to weigh and distribute donated items and volunteers are also needed at the sorting facility to sort donations by type, check for expired dates of use, etc.
