Caring Connection has been serving families in the communities of southwest Michigan for over 130 years. Our work is vital, and we are looking for strategic partners to help us grow and deepen our impact. We are seeking dedicated, visionary leaders to join our Board of Directors to help us shape our mission to Empower, Advocate and Support since 1891.
Caring Connection serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children by providing temporary housing, advocates, therapist, support groups, food, clothing, transportation, assist with housing, and personal protection order assistance. We operate 3 adult day center serving adults who are socially isolated or lonely, developmentally disabled, and those limited in their ability to function independently. They may be struggling with memory loss or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and physical or mental health challenges. Our Guardianship service assists adults 18 and older who are cognitively challenged, developmentally disabled or mentally ill. Individuals who are unable to care for their financial and social or emotional needs. Safe and Secure serves victims of fraud, neglect, or abuse and who are hoarders.
