Join us Sunday, March 23, 1-3pm for our monthly Stewardship Volunteer Day!
Take an active role in making natural areas more healthy, diverse and beautiful! Volunteers will have the opportunity to identify native and invasive plant species and learn the importance of a diverse ecosystem. Great event for families and folks of all ages!
We will meet at the front entrance of the nature center building: 2300 N Benton Center Rd
This event typically involves the removal of invasive plants, but other conservation work is done depending on the season.
Please bring:
- sturdy shoes or boots
- weather appropriate clothes you don't mind getting dirty or torn
- a water bottle
We will provide:
- leather work gloves
- loppers
- any other tools needed for that days task
