Who We Are

Mission: To support established and emerging artists and to enrich the surrounding community through a multi-disciplinary, collaborative and vibrant gathering place that nurtures, celebrates and promotes all creative arts.

The Berrien Artist Guild, Inc., founded in 1962, purchased the historic Williams Bros. Paper Box Mfg. building in 1995. This small group of enthusiastic artists converted the old factory building into today’s multi-use arts facility known as the Box Factory for the Arts where all the arts are celebrated. It is now a unique 55,000 square foot building home to over 40 artists and professionals. The Box Factory multi-use arts center includes dozens of artist studios, four art galleries, a performance stage for concerts and theater, classrooms, an Art Market, meeting space and a whole lot more!

What We Do

The Box Factory for the Arts provides Southwest Michigan residents, visitors and artists the opportunity to view, for free, quality art exhibits. With a large performance space the community can also attend events and performances centered around the arts. Artists studios and office space are available for rent. The Art Market gift shop sells quality local and regional artists’ work.
