Buchanan Area Senior Center is a community focal point on aging, where area older adults gather for services, programs and activities that reflect their experiences and skills, respond to their diverse needs and interests, enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their involvement with this senior community center and the larger community.

We are a daytime community center for seniors with a broad selection of programs and services designed to help older adults age in place in the community they call home. We offer daily exercise classes, a well equipped fitness room, cards and other games, arts and crafts, non-emergency medical transportation, daily congregate meals and meals on wheels by Senior Nutrition Services, educational programs, Medicare advisors during open enrollment and throughout the year, field trips, monthly food commodities, a senior garden, and many other programs.
