We have 4 delivery routes that need drivers and assistants for our "Feeding His Sheep" Weekend backpack program for area students. These backpacks provide weekend meals for these students who may not receive the nutrition they need on the weekends. We routes deliver to the Niles, Brandywine, and Buchanan school districts in Berrien County, and the Tri-County Head Start programs in Cass County.
Deliveries are made every Thursday morning beginning at 10 am, and pick-up of the returned bags is made every Monday beginning at 1pm. Deliveries are NOT made prior to school breaks such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring Break. Each route needs 1 driver and 1 Assistant.
Drivers and assistants will pick-up the backpacks for delivery from our office in Niles every Thursday and then deliver to the schools on the various routes. Drivers and assistants will pick-up empty backpacks from the schools on their routes every Monday and return them to our Niles office.
Delivery runs begin on October 11th, 2018 through May 16th, 2019. Last pick-up date is May 20th, 2019.
