Michiana Family Center

Mission: To contribute to a better community by addressing the most pressing needs for foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

We aim to connect people, resources, and ideas, inspiring them to take action, create a lasting impact and drive systemic change in their communities and beyond. We collaborate with our community to provide wrap-around and uplifting support for children and families experiencing Foster Care, adoption, and kinship in Michiana. Many children who have experienced Foster Care struggle to live as independent adults. We collaborate with our community to provide services, so all children have the tools they need to succeed and add value to their communities. We envision a Michiana community of empowered Foster Families.

Together we champion families with: Michiana Mentors for children/youth, Michiana Care Teams for families, and Support Groups for foster and adoptive parents.
